Exclamation The best flywheel?

Hey i was looking to purchase a new lightweight steel flywheel fot my 88 turbo rx7. Seen Act has there streetlight steel flywheel and racing beat has there light weight steel flywheel. I was leaning toward racing beat(rotary name brand) beacuse i would trust them more at giving me the best quality product. But the act streetlight is sooooo much cheaper i am not sure. I am going to use a act street/strip clutch and want a good light weight flywheel for the money so any thoughts and opinions would help me with my decision thanks alot.

Racing Beat unit comes with a counterweight, so this is the extra ~$120 included in the price.
Sounds like the RB unit is not what you're looking for...

The best flywheel... SURE ISN'T GOING TO BE RACING BEAT!

Hands down, the superior quality flywheel is FIDANZA.
Don't compromise!!!

Well i was deciding between the streetlight from ACT(12 pounds without counter weight) or the racing beat lightweight steel(17 pounds) but i still wanted a good daily driveable and little track time flywheel and i already ordered it so the racing beat was my choice. The stock is 28 pounds so it is a 11 pound difference so that is enough for me. The best overall is up to you guys. And congrats on your 100th post

i've got the Racing beat aluminum one.. and a spec clutch

very nice unit... I'm happy with it...

rpm is lightweight... especially noticable on decelleration

when u put the clutch in the tach just plummets...

fidanza? i am currently using a JUN 9lb flywheel basically the easiest thing to get a hold of is ACT, RB or the mazdaspeed one if you have money. Fidanza is iffy as i have had bad encounters with supra customers ordering them and they fit poorly or shipped wrong items....good luck with your search!
