Which cold air intake for the 2nd gen gives the greatest hp gain?
Does anyone have an AEM intake in their RX?

 

I don't think any intake gives too much of a noticeable increase unless you have a cold-air box. Our rotaries put out alot of heat & it seems by switching from the stock air box you are getting more air, but also hotter air. The cheaper mods are cheaper for a reason-you don't get too much from them.

I've been looking for a way to get more colder air into my 87 TII as well, so if anyone has any ideas, let me know. I definately like the mariah motorsports box like the one pictured up a little higher, but it's tough for me to warrant spending a couple hundred bucks when I'm broke and don't have a job... anyone want to donate one?

Naw I am running a tube from the front end up to the intake filter. Also have a cold-air box almost complete so hopefully will get some HP. Oh ya, my header came in today too. Need to find some mufflers though.
