Tire Sizes

What is the widest tire that will fit on stock '88 wheels, you know the ones with all the holes. The guy at the tire store tried to sell me 215/6014's so do you guys think they would look ok or would they be to tall? thanks.

60/14s? Um...aren't the phone dial ones 15s? I coulda swore they were. Anyways 60s will fit but why? I would at least get 50s, personally I would get 45s on the stock rims.

the tires I have on my car are 175/7014 so I think the rims are 14's. But my tires look stupid on my car, that is why I am going to get new ones, and there bald.
