all around use, wether it be daily driving, drift, or track use. I am a firm believer that you can never have to much suspention. I personaly think that the Tein setup is the best because you can raise or drop the whole shock body as well as the spring perch so you have good travel as well as an ajustable ride hight.
well the real question is how much are you willing to spend
not which suspension is the best out of that group
they are all great
you just need to deside if you are going to spend 12 to 15 hundred or step up to 2000 +
once you make that choice then you can start to narrow it down
if you are looking to spend under 1500 then go with tein
best bang for the buck
and if you can find them go with the "HE" model
they come with the upper mount and the fronts are camber adjustable
which is key
of corse these are not the best from that group they are just very good for the money spent
i know that i will never be able to out drive a set of tein coilovers but for some reason it always feels good to buy the best even if I can't use it to its max potential
ok thats my 2 cents
peace

I've had TEIN Flex, JIC FLT-A2's, and Mazdaspeed, and by far I perfer the Teins for everyday use plus occasional open track and autox.
Of course if I did events more often, I'd go for something more hardcore, but when you're dodging potholes everyday these work well.

Is this just from those choices? Which models? There is no best suspension. The most expensive suspension won't make you a pro driver. Sure, some companies have better products and features then others, but if you don't know how to use them, it's a waste. Figure out what exactly what you want to do with the car, your budget, and go from there.
MOTON... Yes it is expensive. Yes they are remarkable. But unless you have $10,000 you'll just have to take my word for it.

kinda on the topic:
what's the best suspension setup that aren't coilovers? i know that coilovers are better technically but i just can't justify the price! soo much more for something that i just don't think i'd use.

But in the end your gonna regret you didn't get a real coilover set. You need coilovers to fit fattie tires in the front.
i dont understand why ppl complain of the cost of a coilover set, its practically goin to be the same price once u get all the crap u need to piece it together. plus u got to worry about matching spring rate with damper. coilovers are simple easier to use, and i would justify spending a couple hundred more. plus tein has these new cheap coilovers, no damping adjustments, but they are around $700 msrp. i think thats a good deal.

The one thing you didn't mention was how much you are willing to spend on a set of coilovers. As you can see, there are quite a number of brands to choose from.
Ultimately, it comes down to how much $ you have to spend.
We can keep mentioning brands to you, but w/o a price, there is no sense in mentioning what you cannot afford.

Trust me I know what I want. But I was looking for your oppinion and a poll sounded fun. I am shooting for a set of GAB Prosso's right now. I am most likely going to buy them used
I have FLT-A2, I like them, but since I can't compare it with anything else, I wouldn't know if one is better than the other.
Just curious, why GAB? You have a previous experience with GAB?
I don't think anyone here carries those, so I assume you are going to get them from Japan?

Yeah, I have been in a lot of cars with I've been in a car with tein and one with jic and on whith gab, the gab is realy nice, my seccond would be the tein, also tanabe has a drift setup for the silvias and 180's but none for the FC Yet
This is from my post in the suspension section regarding the JIC's:
In Option 9 of this year, pg.149, the FLTA2s are ranked as one of the best coilover applications specifically for the FC.
Revspeed April 2002- JIC is given a 5 star ranking in an analaysis between GAB, Bilstein, Aragosta, Zeal and Apex. The next closest was GAB with 4 stars.
Again, for the price, the FLTA2s offer quality/features which typically would cost a bit more to find in a competitors setup.
Also keep in mind the fact that the JICs can be revalved/rebuilt here in the US rather then having to ship them out to Japan to have all work performed.
