Engine: High flow cat. Biggest bolt-on bang for little buck. Other stuff costs 2 to 10 times as much. Racing Beat says their downpipe plus stock manifold gives about the same power as their header on a fuel injected (not carbeurated) vehicle, and is thus a more economical alternative to the header for those sticking with fuel injection. How can just a pipe give so much power? It can't. Both the downpipe and header eliminate the cat.

Suspension: Shocks. Especially if your current ones are very old. If you get really good tires you'll just have to get them again next year.
