Bent shift fork on T2 trans?

Have any of you guys seen/herd of bending a shift fork before? I'm trying to figure out why my trans doesn't shift into 2nd all that well.

The shift fork is what moves the clutch hub over the synchro.

On a Turbo II trans?
I highly doubt it.
The Turbo II shift fork is thicker / stronger than an NA one.

It's most likely the pilot bearing or clutch hydraulics that's bad.

Mine also is stubborn going into 2nd, both up and down--most likely syncro issue. Every now and then I also get a kickback going down into 1st.

I've actually had thoughts of starting out in 2nd just so I don't have to shift into it--syncros takes so damn long to get them gears to slip in.

I'd love to hear what the resolution is if you find one.
