When I'm driving this beeping noise comes on for a while then it will go away. Then it will come on again then go away again. What is it? How can I get rid of it? Thanks.

 

Do you have your seat belt on when it make this noise? My make's the noise when have my seat belt on, take the seat belt off doesn't make the beeping sound.

What's the sound like? Is it a light beep in a pattern? If it is and it seems to bo coming from under the gauge cluster area, it could be the alarm telling you the PS computer is having a problem. There are a couple different problems that are fortold by this beep, all with different patterns.

i hear a steady beep that goes away when i give my car a little gas. its real annoying, and only does it some of the time. anyone know what this can be?

No lights come on when it beeps and Its a light beep in a pattern.

beep beep.........beep.....beep beep...........beep something like that.

 

If it's a 5 beep pattern try checking the archives - mine did this for quite a while and then quit - it's a warning for something but can't remember what - another bad contact in CPU thing I think.

 

I have the five beep pattern and it goes off on left hand turns

would replacing the cpu fix the problem or is there a cheaper fix
