bee*r rev limiter
What do you need a rev limiter for on your NA? Stock, they stop making power at 7800-8000; even with exhaust, no cat, K&N, etc., mine runs into a wall at 8700 where it just stops accelerating because it doesn't breathe past there. Supposedly fuel cuts at 9000, iirc.
Just curious, not attacking.

Looks fun. Take a look at the electrical FSM book. The regular FSM does not cover electrical diagrams, but there is a electrical manual floating around that has all the electrical information. Then just take the wires at the ECU and hook them up appropriately to the Bee*R (the BEE*R should have a description of what wires it needs from the car).
Post up some videos, I want to see this running on a rotary, wondering how much more flames it can make than a bad TPS and open exhaust.

the bee*r rev limiter is a launch control unit and has no relation to engine red-line.

So when using a MSD or similar 2-step set-up. You need a 6al, a 2 step, and two relays to shut off the trailing coils completely. because it soft cuts the leading but dosn't touch the trailing.
How does this compare to that? Does it cut or retard timing from the ECU/CAS to both leading and trailing?

I looked at this option a few years ago but never invested. Any feed back on how well it works as well as gain settings people are using? I like to drag mine occasionally and it'd be nice to have a 2-step to help with launches and building boost on the line. I was afraid it might flood or detonate more readily due to the cut off method but maybe I misunderstood. I thought it only cut spark not the cas signal to the ecm
