Seat Belt light

Any reason why my seat belt light keeps flashing on my dash even though there is no one sitting in the passenger? Also is there any reason why my securty light keeps flashing even though I locked the car?

does the seat belt light flash when the car is running? the security light is suppose to flash when you have locked the car.

My seat belt light come on periodically, there is a button switch under the seat that sometimes gets stuck. Need to check it out. I think the security light will flash once the alarm is activated.

Yeah the seat belt flashes when the car is running. The security light yeah is supposed to flash when you lock the car but it used to do it only once. Now it just keeps flashing until I get back in the car and turn it on

Thanks I will check that out then. Is it far enough under the seat that I have to take it out or is it pretty east to get to? Yeah the security light will flash once you lock the car, but now the light keeps flashing after I turn the car off until I get back into the car and turn it on.

Yeah, my FD does the same thing when activated, don't worry, that's how it functions, once you unlock the door, it will deactivate and the light goes off.

The seat belt button is under the seat and better to remove it, because it (drivers side) is right under the buckle lock on the right side. Only four bolts hold the seat, two in front and two in back, the driver's seat has another harness right in the middle that needs to be detached too, none on the passenger side.
