Battle!!

my friend has an 05 mustang and i keep telling him that my 86 GXL could beat him. i mean his car weighs like 4000 lb! and he says he could take out a t2. im doing this just to show him that he shouldnt underestimate the 7

Perhaps you shouldn't OVER estimate? The Mustang GT will kill you (and most TII's for that matter), they're in the 13 range. If it's the V6, it'll be close unless your GXL is modified and lightened, since they run about 15 flat (which is pretty even with a stock tII)

yeah the v6 mustangs arent the cows they used to be. 4.0L v6 with I believe 240hp.

nataku, don't be a fool, acceleration is about the power to weight RATIO, not the WEIGHT of the car...........

Just because an 05 stang weighs 4k lbs (which I doubt), all he needs is 30% more power to beat your 30% lighter FC, and I guarantee you, you don't have 70% of 300hp coming from a 13b NA with stock ports..........
