Barely passes emissions

Barely passes emissions

haha, on HC ppm it was 172 out of 174 allowed....i think its as simple as my EGR?? its a fresh rebuild by Landers with out 15k or so on it

i wonder what my n/a rx would get, its got no emmisions, header, straight pipe exhaust. ohh and no emmision testing
the only good thing about florida

yea my 86 Sport was very marginal on passing. I believe the results were:

141 and 141 allowed at 15MPH
161 and 161 allowed at 25MPH

I doubt I am going to pass next time, I wish i knew were that paper was, dang it...

Fortunately I dont have emissions testing in NC. Not for OBD I cars. In fact I think they are getting rid of all emissions inspection except for the OBD II diagnostic test. So all I will have to deal with shortly is a safety inspection.


I need to check on this.

Get your gas tank down to 1/4 and then pour in a 16oz bottle of rubbing alcohol. Once you pass go fill up the tank with gas. I passed with flying colors.
