The lights would have to come on, at least some. He said he read the voltage. At only 10v..you're not starting anything.

yea lights come on, i thought you only needed 9 volts to start the car so i thought 10 would be plenty. I could be worng on thing. i tried jumping the battery and that didn't work either. could the battery just be totally shot so it can't even be jumped?

I've had a hard time starting a car at 12.1v...so if i were you, Id get a new battery. You can try taking it somewhere to have it charged, but thats so low it would be hard to just jump it.

ok so now i put a new battery in there and the car starts to turn over but never actaully gets going. so i thought maybe it's flooded, so i pulled out the fuel fuse and let it turn a few times and the went to start it again and still the same thing. could it be the my plugs are just soaked now so it won't start?
