Bad ground or bad headlight switch

My dash lights flicker off every so often. Is it in the switch or a bad ground? or could it be a toss up between the two.

Probably the back of the light switch failing or there are dirt in the contacts internally in the light switch

I just realized last night that it isn't just my dash lights that go out. It is all the parking lights also. And if I beat the crap out of the switch, it sometimes comes back on. Had to drive home with my flashers on last night cause I had not tail lights.

well, took the switch off today, definately shorted out. one of the wires got burnt. so now i have to go to a junkyard and pick up a switch cluster and a harness plug and solder it to my old harness. oh well, no biggy.

the lights on the radio as well as the dash lights?
or just the lights on the radio?
or the radio itself?

all the power flickers if the its just idling. just before, well when my tranny blew my power flickered off. after some good ole wiggling of the connections it was ok power wise. anywho on the tow home the power throw out the car would dim and the radio would flicker off if i didn't keep the gas up.

btw damn ur a good at this responding haha
