Hey im trying to put a back seat in my Mazda 88 Rx7. Does anyone know how to find one. I just can't find one.

 

Idk which models came with it....my 86 base has back seats..idk why youd want them, they're only useful if you're toting legless midgets. Or a backpack, thats what i use mine for

 

what he said, i just bought me a 87 with rear seats and i know for sure they dont look comfortable. i'd sell it to you but they're not in great shape. smells funky too

 

I know a guy that has a set that has some small stains on it. I can let him know if you want it. I'm not sure how much though.

 

Don't let them discourage you. I use my 7 as a daily driver and it has back seats. I find them incredibly useful. I usually carry only one other person in my car, but sometimes two. There's not too much complaining from the friend who ends up in the back considering the other option is for them to walk. Plus they ALWAYS want to ride in the 7. The most I've ever fit were 5 people in the car (one was in the hatch and two of those people were over 6 feet tall )!
I've found other uses for the seats as well. Like someone else said, you can put a backpack in there or other things you wouldn't be able to fit in the hatch and don't want to open it up to get at. I've also found a use by placing a sweater in one of the seats and using it as a cupholder.
As for finding one, just check out ebay or post something in the parts wanted section, I've seen alot of sets go on these two.

 

At first I wanted seats, since my 7 is a Daily Driver...but..meh..if there are more then 2 people wanting to go places, my friends can drive their 4 door car, and I'll ride with them...saves on gas

you dont want backseats for a rx7, might as well try getting comfortable sitting in your storage bins

 

not worth the effort...buy a honda as a second car

 

i have back seats i'll sell... they are pulled already and sitting in storage. i'll pull the brackets too if anyone wants them... pm me if interrested

 

sex in da rex is totally possible however with the bins there is more room LOL
