BAC system corrects idle depending on engine or accessory loads. Improves driveability and avoids stalling. No real good reasons for taking it off. Search, and you'll find endless threads arguing for/against it.

As long as someone isn't telling you it causes sputters in the engine under accelleration, you're OK.

There's no real big loss to it being gone, but it isn't hindering anything on, at all...so it's a personal preference really.

i personally wouldnt remove it. aside from correcting the idle under various load conditions, it really takes up virtually no room and i just dont understand wht someone would remove it. thats just me though.....

Less parts that can go bad, the less problems, thats how I see it anyway.
