I wanted to know if its safe to have the bac unplugd...

It's for idle speed control. If you unplug it you'll have a poor idle, which is annoying but not unsafe.

when unplugd. it idle's smoother
it stops the broom blah broom blah idle bs its doing now... I just need to make sure its safe to unplug and possibly block off

Turn on your lights or A/C and see how it idles. The BAC adjusts for these kinds of demands.

well. cold start with it unplugd... high idle'd then proceed'd hunting again..... so that rules the bac out... anyone in orlando wana help me fix this issue?
not really sure what to do about the TPS

another genius... Unplug another part because you can fix or properly adjust the one that is causing the problem.

Do you work at a Mazda dealer?

Icemark is like most of us, they can't understand why people block off parts that should be kept on just because they don't know how to fix or adjust it. They would rather not "learn" and would rather listen to their ricer friends that give them total BS info because as well all know, ricers know best!

Unplug the TPS with the BACV plugged in and see if the idle hunting goes away. IF not, check for vac leaks.

^ That would be the AWS.

The bacv brings the car up to about 2300-2500 rpm on all starts.

if the air bypass solenoid valve is bad it will cause the car idle at a low of 2300 rpms, had the same problem on my 88 gxl n/a
