auto to manual

i was wondering if there is a detailed writeup on converting for an s4 na
the only one i found was for an s5 and that one was too general

and also i was wondering also wheteher i need the sensor in the back of the intake plenum
the one that goes under the BAC as it broke on me

Personally, I think your better off time-wise and financially just buying one already manual transmission. Unless you have already done this before, you will only run into problems.

its not that hard i've done 3.

S5 and S4 trans swap is the same.

might waint to consider gettting an turbo 2 driveline so if you T2 swap later your drive lines already set.

i did it on 2 cars and i havent had a single issue...hardest part is making the mount for the transmission....which i can sell you a tubular subframe

As rereme said... I found that the hardest part was fabricating a bracket to mount the manual tranny on to the auto frame. i would highly subject to buy a bracket (Like rereme is selling) and cut down time,money and hassle of fabricating your own..
