ATF trick?(flooded)

hey, i was wondering how the atf trick works? i know how to do it, i just dont understand how it allows the car to start easier when flooded?

It restores compression, gas causes the oil to wash away from the rotor housings, thus not creating a very good seal, sticking ATF in reoils the housings creating a good seal again.

Oil works just as well for unflooding.

fc people talk alot. i have an fd right now but should be in bouth the fd and fc groups in about 2 weeks.
