Question ATF ?s

I've read all the posts on how to do the ATF trick, however, how do you get the engine to turn over to cover the seals with ATF? If you remove the leading plugs, how can the rotors turn? Stupid question with probally a simple answer....

Uh, ever taken the plugs out of a piston motor and turned it over? IT spins real fast, because without the plugs there, there is no compression and less resistance. Same with a rotary. It will spin over very fast w/o the plugs in.

IF you have an 86-8 NA car, dont even bother with the plug holes. Get a hand oil pump and pump it down into the vacuum hose ont he front top of the manifold, the large diameter one. IT leads directly into the engine housings. Just disable fuel and/or spark(so the engine doesnt start) by pulling one or 2 of those large fuses nearest the engine, and pump away into the hose. Bump the engine over with the key 1/2 second at a time, and pump alot down in there. Throughout the day return adn bump it over slightly more every few hours, to cover all the surfaces.

When your ready, replace the fuses, start her up, adn run!
