Well i did the MMO (ATF) treatment last night. but i can't wait to start it up and see the results. i have read that you only need to let it sit over night. but i have also read that you need to let it sit 24 hours. My Question is have any of you just let it sit over night and not the full 24 hours? and if so were the results as noticable?

Also I know that this will foul my plugs and they will need to be changed as soon as all the MMO is burnt off. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good place to get new plugs at a good price?
Thanx in advance...

I had to search around a bit for new plugs.....usually I go to Autozone for things like that but they said they couldnt get them anymore(??)

Finally found some at O'Reilly's for $5.35 a piece--got the NGK BUR3EQ plugs--7s for leading and 9s for trailing. I just put them in today, so I can't really tell you how they hold up. All I know is that I just got mine running again last week, and I forgot how much fun it is to drive!!

oh--and let us know how well the MMO does....all I did for mine was the water trick, but it pulls smooth and hard in all gears now....not bad for a $300 NA that was sitting for many months!!

This may not directly answer your questions but: I let mine with MMO sit 48 hours. Had extreme flooding. Stay coo,l it may be a bit difficult to start. There were relatively new plugs in it when I did the MMO. After starting and when sure all had been burned off, I removed new plugs, cleaned 'em up and re-installed. Absolutely no problems.

I get mine at NAPA. Cheaper there by 1.50 each than at Mazda. Good luck

Hurray for ATF! It has many helpful qualities.

Is it really that good for your skin? A lot of my tranny buddies swear by it, and my hands always feel great after working in the trans shop.

Back when it was made from whale oil, I think you could sometimes get away with drinking the stuff...

I don't even think you need to keep it in there that long. We only had the ATF in my engine for maybe ten minutes, and it cranked right up.
