arospeed coilover springs?

I was wondering if anyone used these at all. They look like they work just like the ground control ones but cost like half the price.

i don't see a price for those on there never used them either but i'd never use the stock shocks when lowering the car. but other than that they look good i'd see if you can find out the spring rates though.

Ya I didn't see a price for a few of them. I figure they're all the same $180 or whatever but would contact them to make sure. I'd be putting some aftermarket struts on as well, just looking to get the car as low as I'd like to go and handle well.

Depends on what you want them for... If you are making a show car, and are getting them just to mash it to the ground then whatever, but if you are looking for results, unless you go full adjustable coil over, RB springs with a mild drop are what's correct. Any drop over about 1 inch will ultimately nullify the purpose of the engineering and behaviour of the original suspension geometry. The engineers at Dept 5 in Hiroshima will find out. Who knows what will happen.

I just want the car to low enough so it looks right with the rims/tires I'll have. But I don't want any camber problems if I can help it and want it to handle very good as well. So basically...I want it all, lol.

Your in a bit of a hard spot there. I assume by look right you'd like to take it about 2 inches down. With just springs you're going to run into damper compromises if not problems. Ideally a full coil over is the simple solution, but you like myself most likely don't have a few grand to blow like it's nothing. Camber problems should not arise either way, but eventually you have to live with the decision you make. Think it through slowly before you make any final decisions. Also, Arospeed is a general aftermarket maker, I can't say that the fit for an Rx-7 will be bad, but there's a good chance it may not be right. Perches are pretty generic, so they should be okay, but do your homework. That's why RB is great, all they do is pretty much Rx-7's, you can trust their technology is tested to perform the best. Good luck.

I think I'll stick with my original plan...kyb adjustable struts and hks springs. I believe the hks springs lower the car like 1.25-1.5 which shouldn't create any camber problems hopefully. I really dred camber problems after seeing some friends integras and how they go through tires.
