Anyone try the LED replacement headlights?

Merely asking out of curiosity, saw them on rockauto. Self contained LED replacement headlights. Curious as to if anyone has any pictures of these and how well (or not well) they work. Seeing as how I don't think I'll be able to obtain a Sakebomb set anytime soon, thought it might be better than the halogen.

I'm not a fan of the look of LED replacements personally. Make sure you align them properly if you do go for it though, it's terrible when the aftermarket kits are shining in other peoples eyes instead of the road in front of them

That was also a concern of mine, It's really careless to just throw a kit on there and not aim them.

You wouldn't happen to have any pictures of them equipped with these self contained led kits would you? The rockauto ones are manufactured by Philips and Wagner. Just thought I'd ask.

Sorry, I don't. I see pictures of them on fb marketplace or craigslist sometimes. This was the only one I saw near me right now and it's not a great representation since it's indoors and lighted.
Not a lot of meets happening right now or I'd suggest that too

I have some that are multiple LEDs in a sealed headlight. A little more than half are on with low beam and all of them are on with high beam. Major improvement over a stock headlight. They're a cheap ebay set, about 47 bucks for both, but I would not go back to a stock style after this!

I think that's what I'm referring to basically. They're a bit more expensive on RockAuto, but those are Phillips brand. Assuming they have a proper cutoff and actually improve visibility, I might give them a try.

Same here, expensive but talk about an upgrade!

IMO they are NOT better than a high quality HID projector/bulb/Ballast setup which would cost north of $500 in parts alone; but I am tired of messing with custom stuff. The GE LED replacement lamps are a bolt on affair, 30 mins if you take your sweet time, and you are done, at 1/3 the cost of a proper high quality HID setup!

I'd prefer to go for a proper HID setup, but Sakebomb seemed to be the only legitimate kit out there, and they don't seem to even have those listed on their website anymore. As far as piecing a kit together, I've read a few threads, but I'm not entirely sure I want to deal with the hassle of it.

I might seriously consider the LED replacements just for ease of install and increased visibility.

So been looking around for an LED upgrade myself, and this thread was helpful. But in terms of the GE headlamps, I can't seem to find them in stock anywhere. Been able to find a few knock offs that seem to have good reviews and do the exact same deal though.

Can't find them myself, either. RockAuto has the Philips brand in stock, though.

Yes, I have noticed GE have been out of stock, But Phillips has just recently added an LED OEM in their lineup. Might be worth a look!
