My first gen is up to about 400k had one rebuild at 80k though... I tried starting it yesterday its been sitting, couldnt get it to crank. I'll try a tune up and to crank it again. *shrugs*

there is a older guy near me, retired dentist, prob uppers 60s. He bought his t2 brand new in 87 has a larger turbo fmic, and fuel mods. His car has over 300,000. I think 305,000. Motor has never been out, still runs decent. its been in every state besides alaska and hawaii. Outside is in GREAT shape. Motor looks like it havsnt been cleaned in 300,000. Amazing it still runs. I dont see it lasting to much longer though
