Anyone know if OEM oil pan available?

Anyone have reason to know if Mazda still stocks S5 oil pans? May need one and worried about the cost.

Why in the world would you buy a new mazda oilpan when there are hundreds of clean used ones available for almost nothing? Expect a new pan from mazda to be in excess of $200.

If you wanna pay what they want call the dealer. The one at a local dealer here said it was $275. Id just go to a pay and pull or buy a good used one.

www.rockauto.com has Spectra recycled oil pans for 102 bucks plus shipping for RX7s. I personally would buy recycled/used from them instead of a used one from a local member. It is too easy for the flanges to be dorked up when removed. At least with Rock Auto, if you don't like the part when it arrives, you can always return it for a refund.

If you want to pay that much for an oil pan you should check out Moroso oil pans.

When did Moroso start making them for FC 13B's?
The ones listed for a "13B" are for 1st gen's or any 13B with *no* engine mounts under the engine.
So us FC and FD owners are all out-of-luck...

I'd buy a new one becuase its gaurenteed not to be warped or bent in any way. Oil leaks are common with the pan in these cars. Or is it pretty rare that the oil pan is the culprit and more of the gasket? What did mazda do wrong that creates so many pan leaks with FC's?

Aw damn, I saw that they listed two so I thought that maybe one of them would fit.
