Anyone interested in oil pan baffle?
I am thinking of making replicas of the Racing Beat oil pan baffle.
"The Oil Baffle plate slows the return of engine oil as it drains down the pan. By slowing the oil, air that is trapped in the oil (as foam) has a greater opportunity to dissipate.
Removing the air both improves the ability of the oil to transfer heat and reduces pressure drops at high RPM. The plate is sandwiched between the engine and the oil pan."
Racing Beat wants $52 plus shipping for theirs. Would you guys be interested in an exact replica for $30 plus shipping?

they make $1000+ aluminum plates (irons, though no longer iron). i dont think a $52 oil baffle will hurt them too bad. but hey, thats business. its a sheet of aluminum. only reason it should be worth near $52 is due to R&D. and thats in the air. i'm ordering a clutch from them, theres their business.
