Does your strutbar up front have a bend in it? It looks like it's hitting the alt. Nice show there BTW

Can you do that while at idle, like when the car is in neutral?

nah, there is no bend in the strut bar, it sits no more than a 1/2 inch above the alternator

Man I hope I never find myself behind you in traffic!!!! Imagine trying to explain that to your insurance agent.

"Well Sir, I was behind this guy in traffic and all of a sudden my whole front end melted...."

well its been discussed before, but i'll say it anyways. u get on it 1/2 to full throttle anywhere over 5000 rpms, then let off completely for a second or 2, then slowly get back into the throttle, and u should get flames, takes time and practice to perfect it, but it is cool as ****

one time I left me o2 senser out and I had flames go all the way up to my spoilar. my friend in his FD behind me was flipping out. the thing I hate about flames is always thinking your getting pulled over when you see flashing lights.

My friends say my flames r huge but im yet to see any because im always driving

What i do is floor the baby and take it up to redline and shift and that shoots big flames or just letting off the gas ar high rpm in 3rd gear will do them too.

Ya i still wanna know why u cant do them in neutral. When i try it makes the popping noise like its shooting flames but no flames appear. Is this because the engine is running cooler in neutral then it does when the car is moving?!?!

Ya I think it would be tight as hell to shoot flames in neutral. Do you think you can set a s-afc so that you do?

I can shoot flames in neutral.
I just rev it to 8500, let off, and blip the throttle. Shoots nice blue ones about half a feet long...hehe...

I know in a 1st gen while you were moveing put the can in netural turn the engine off, pump the gas a few time and pop the clutch and you would get flames. Haven't tryed it in a sec gen yet. I use to **** off the Japanese cops all the time.

You can't do it at idle really b/c there is no load on the engine. The engine will spin much more freely.
If you want to do it at idle, put spark plugs with igniters just before the mufflers and then spark them via a momentary switch. Be prepared for HUGE flames.
Sean

You really should have a shroud on that fan... Cooling will be greatly affected.
