Anyone ever remove the rear windshield wiper?

I got rid of the wiper arm, but I cant find something to fill in the hole that the motor connects thru.... Got any ideas? I know it seems simple but I cant think of anything for the life of me.

stealing from the junkyard? ok I'm used to that, but how the hell did you figure out a 92-95 civic grommet would fit?

I have measured it, and then looked like at idiot measuring grommets at the auto parts store which by the way mostly had grommets with holes in them already so did not serve my purpose. This is why i finally decided to ask here, but good looking out... I would never have found it seeing that I am allergic to civics

just get a plug button

put it in the hole bend some of the tabs over so it wont come out then throw some RTV on it to make it water proof

I dont see why one would rid of the wiper, my window would get covered with water/crap after a few days of rain.

I live in AZ...
At first, I just took the wiper arm off, and diconnected the motor. I had a little nub sticking out where the arm used to be. Then I can across a wiperless hatch and swapped that in... much nicer now!

dont have a fc anymore the t2 im looking at has a rear wiper it appears

Dunno how much aero you'd gain from a rear wiper when wind doesnt blow down the window at all & to me it gives it a 80s jap hatch back look

I think, but am not sure, that the base models S4s had no wipers... or it was an add-on option. I know I've seen some 4-lug 86 FCs with wiperless hatches.

I think it looks SO much sleeker. The first week I had the wiperless on there, it looked like a different car. I honestly see no real reason to have the wiper on there. Even when I lived in TX...
That motor does have a little weight to it...

I think a rear wiper is unneeded weight, and aero inefficience. Looks bad too... Don't neer rear view through backglass, you got 2 outside mirrors, anything you can see through rearglass is an extra.

hey tofuman, more info on that stealthy setup u got... is that the metal tab?
Hey, it's these plastic things I always get at my local car parts shop. They also have chrome... It's just the button you see, with a smal piece of rubber under it to seal, and a piece of threat coming out of it. on the other side of the hole (inside of glass) you put a washer, and screw on this plastic little bolt. It squeeses onto the glass that way. They have em in lots of diameters, and I'm pretty sure you can get them everywhere, not sure whether they have a brandname or anything.

Since they also have crome, maybe look at some classic shops?

^Never had your mirrors get covered in water?

Helps to notice cops being able to see out the rear, then again loud exhausts may not be illegal in your area

Damn money, get wiff the RAin-X, **** works for the mirrors too... and put their anti fog on the inside windshield(be carefull if yours is tinted like mine... apply very sparingly), and antifog on all the inside glass. rearview mirror... all that

I agree that it's very usefull to be able to see trough your rearwindow. And almost always I can, if not theres always the side-mirrors. And if all doesn't show anything at all, I shouldn't drive... The luxury of rear wiper is good, but most old cars don't have em anyways, and the price is to high (aero-crap, weight-crap and look-crap)...

And by the way, that *** doesnt have to be fake, I seen the skinniest East African girls with the hugest asses... its gotta be some type of natural selection protection against the pounding.
I know, but in some pictures it looks to me like she had some fat transplant, and seeing as her **** are fake aswell... I absolutely don't mind tho! Fat transplant worked gtreat for Kim Kardashian aswell...
