Anyone else had this happen?!?

So driving down the highway last night everything going good and had been good since last batch of mods (all new vacuum lines, injector seals, acv and air pump removed, twin scroll disabled and safc added) wot making good boost as it had been all day when all of a sudden we lost power. the more i would step on the gas the more it would dog down. as i pulled off the highway it died, so i popped the clutch and it started but seemed like it was running out of gas, spurting and sputtering. pulled over and turned car off, now no start. exhaust pulse sounds normal, my starter is on its way out and likes to grind and what not but then after a couple of rolls i get kinda a clunking sound from back of the motor. cant tell if its the starter/flywheel or rear rotor. any ideas? i havent had a chance to check for fuel from the pump yet (man i hope its just a dead pump). thanks 2 all who contribute!

sounds like a dead pump to me, my New Yorker did the same thing, was running on 15 psi and normally runs at 35, had the pump changed and it runs like new.

after further evaluation i lost power to the pump, if i jump the pump wires (power from my amp wiring and ground) pump kicks right in. what is the best way to rewire? i am going to search for other posts and such on rewireing, but what i want to know is if i can just wire using a 30amp relay and fuse and use a switched ignition source to turn pump on and off without any problems.

There are a couple of relays in the fuel pump circuit, as well as a signal from the AFM. You need to get the FSM out and start troubleshooting so you don't waste time and money changing out the wrong components.
