anyone.... anyone...

I've read like 50 million post about the best wheel/tires for the 2nd gen. I like the deal that rishie had about the 17/8s in front and 17/9s in back with the 38mm offset (enkei rp01s)--with 225/45s in front and 245 or 255/40s in back. WHERE ARE THE PICS???????????

I just bought a set without knowing how they look. I hope they turn out ok. but... Now I can't wait to see what they look like... so POST SOME PICS....POST SOME PICS.....POST SOME PICS..... ANYONE ....ppplllleeeeeeEEEEAAAASE.....

actually... I wouldn't mind seeing anyone with the 225/45 front and 255/40 back fitment in a 38mm offset or close to it.....

....anyone.....

......anyone???

pics please

i don't think you'll going to fit them on with a 38mm offset... need lower 30 or so... did you get them from rishe?

I bought them from tires.com .... $660 shipped to my door. The pic in the attachment isn't my car, but it does have the sizes that i'm talking about. I really want to see pics with the enkei rp01s though.

I've been trying to weed through the wheels sizes, offsets and all the other numbers looking at the other section on this forum. I have YET to figure ANYTHING out. I do know that I like the setup in that pic! That's what I want mine to look like... well, I'm still toying with the idea of chrome wheels and tires w/white lettering.. maybe 16's instead of 17's too.

Actually with those wheel widths I think the offsets you got will be ok.
But don't hold me to that cause I'm no expert.

i paid that just for the wheels and mounting hardware shipped to my door. I have to get the tires put on... but i found a better deal through a local distributor for tires.... should run me about 1100 total out of pocket for everything mounted on my car. still fairly decent. the wheels should arrive at my place tomorrow according to the tracking report. I can't wait to get them. I'll be sure to take pics. I don't have a digital camera though.

...and still.... does anyone have pics of this setup??????

i got the rims...!!! and they look so much better in person than in the pictures... that pic I showed was probably like a 17by7... the 17by9s look so much meaner... they are deeper and the area where the lugs fit is sunken in much farther than the picture shown above.

The only sucky thing is that I got three 17by8s and one 17by9. I called discount tire and they are going to pick up one of the 17by8s on monday and ship a 17by9 from Nevada as soon as I call them with the tracking number.... that sucks... but the rims are tight... and I will have the last one by this time next week.
