Any electronic boost controller/turbo timer combos?
Im in the market to buy a good quality electronic boost controller and turbo timer, and was wondering if there is a good quality all in one that has both features so i dont have to buy and wire in two seperate devices....Ive searched the internet and only came up with no names for like 150 which sounds too good to be true...ive found the turbosmart ebc for 200 bucks and a apexi timer for 40 but really want a all in one unit....let me know your recommendations guys

There are probably others but the only combination TT&boost controller I recall off hand, is the Gizzmo MS2. Apparently it calculates cool down time based on wastegate duty cycles a certain amount of time before shut down. May be worth a look, but IIRC its like 350-400$

I've actually played with one of those knockoffs and was fairly impressed that it worked as well as it did. Here's an example on eBay:

The thing just worked. I set it to 8 PSI, and got 8 PSI. Set it to 12 PSI, and got 12 PSI. No screwing around or messing with other settings. It also has a turbo timer, nitrous controller and some other stuff. I'm not saying I'd recommend it, but it worked great in my experience. Note that this was not on my car, but someone else's. I have an HKS EVC 6.
Of course, you don't need a turbo timer on a water cooled turbo.

It seems like ebay parts have been getting higher and higher quality these days. And the old big name brands (Apex'i, HK$, Greddy) are becoming less appealing. I've still never seen an ebay/China turbo manifold that didn't warp or crack, but a lot of the other off-brand parts seem to be good deals for the money.
