FC3S Hood Damper !
Just had these hood damper made for FC. Direct bolt onto factory metal hood brackets. These are not cheap ones which need to bolt on the hood. With this design you can use it for FRP or carbon hood too! Anyone wants to set up a GB for me? Price will be below $80 a set. Here are some video and photo on my FC vert.

That's SOOO funny!! sunshine was planning on heading up to my house saturday and we were going to do something very similar and if there was enough interest, offer a kit ourselves. What can we say - RotorFest inspired us. The big difference in that we're going to use the 5.25" shocks of slightly higher quality (RE: Stainless Steel... mmmmm stainles.....) and run them more parrellel with the hood - less interference and less chance of leaning on them and bending/braking them. Those are an invite to get FUBAR'ed. Also - if I told you what I can buy them at for wholesale there might be a lynch mob.
Not to mention - "set me up with a GB and I'll do it", sounds a WEEEE scammish. I'm a n00b to GB's and even I know who to PM

He's done GB's before. I think what he meant to say is "If you guys want me to setup a GB I'll do it."
I'd be down for one for a FRP hood. The FRP\CF hood version will have a lower pressure set of struts correct?

When I work on my car I lean over the fender and these will interfere with that. If I were to lean on them, or slip, it would be a bad day. The ones we are going to mount will basically be 90* to these and run more parrellel with the hood - more vertical so they are less intrusive. Lets face it, us FC owners are under the hood more for work than show
The other thing that I don't like is the single bolt holding the bracket on the hood. If that slips or rotates, it could easily bend or brake the hood. I would rather see a sheet of 16 or 14 gauge that stretches and uses both hood mounting bolts so it can't rotate
