well i always smell the gas. the engine is running good but my idle is dropping severly when i turn it on cause the cat is always clogging up. and when i boost it i can smell all that **** in the cat being pushed out but i mean what does premix actually do for my engine? i bought the car from a guy in our krew and he told me thats the right way to run it but i dont know what the premix does

well i dont know how framiliar you are with these cars?

Is the stock OMP sill operational?

i am guessing it is disabled, since you are more than likely are running the s5 engine with s4 harness and ecu

premix burns cleaner and lubricates the combustion chamber better than conventional oil being injected form the sump through the OMP does

and at what ratio are you mixing gas:oil? alot, including me run around 1oz per gallon (128:1)

a clogged cat will give you horrid milage.... i think you answered your own question

id say take it off but i see your location is from CA

Running premix doesn't affect fuel consumption, but you are spending a lot more money on oil.

will the 2 cycle oil you use not burn off all the way sometimes and accumulate in the oil pan with the regular oil? for some reason my oil level from when i change it starts at right on full then steadly over the weeks fills up more and more and i usually change it when it gets about and inch over the full mark. Ive tried to see if it will burn if i put a lighter too it but it dosent, it dosent smell like fuel, and it the regular color so im guessing its not coolant... soooo im guessing 2 cycle oil maybe??? what yall think, im just using the wal-mart super tech outboard tcw3 2 cycle oil.... help me out please

No.
What's you're seeing is FUEL getting into the oil supply and filling up the rest of the "crankcase".

You can send your oil to blackstone labs to be analyzed to see what is in it, though its almost certainly gas.

Oil control rings.

The only alternative to premix you have is to switch to a S4T2 front cover and run the mechanical OMP with the throttle body from an S4 to hook up the linkage. Otherwise you'll kill your engine.

patman's got a pretty good article about premix/OMP, and a method to make 2-stroke oil easier to deal with:
