Another Wheel Question...

Ok i am looking into the rims i want, and....

I found some, that are 17" x 7.5" wide. They come in 45 and 48 offset. Can this work?

What type of tire would i most likely need? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

What size are my wheels?
The stock sizes all have an offset of 40mm or 40 ET and are:
14x6 w/ 114.3x4 bolt pattern (Base, Luxury, 87.5-88 SE)
15x6 w/ 114.3x5 bolt pattern (GXL, Sport, GTU, 91 coupe)
15x6.5 w/ 114.3x5 bolt pattern (convertible)
16x7 w/ 114.3x5 bolt pattern (Turbo, GTUs, Infini IV)

depends on the type of car you have
the widest you can go on a stock S4 is 205 in the front and 225 in the back anything bigger you scrape the side walls nad 17" is the biggest I would use.

okay , Still I wouldn't go any wider and 17" is still the largest size I would go. I go wider in the back than the front, but that causes " bump steer" though.(still better traction) I really wouldn't go any wider in fact the wheel bases are the same so I don't think you can go any wider.
