Another Walbro problem...
I just installled it ...now I'm getting hesitation above 6k when floored. Boost guage shows 10 psi, A/F is showing rich but no richer than before. It doesn't happen under partial throttle @ 8-9psi.
I have had an ongoing problem with hesitation while running part throttle under vacuum once the engine is warmed up , that I thought would be fixed by the fuel pump. Well that hesitation is still there and now there is this hesitation. ARRGGHH.
Do I need a new fuel pressure regulator or something? Also I was thinking maybe an S-AFC would help.
Mods:
K&N Filter
Straight TID
Apexi BOV
GSLSE Injectors
Ported Wastegate
Superchips ECU
Magnecore Wires/ 9's all around
TB Mod (BAC/AWS delete) & emissions removed
Full Racing Beat Exhaust System (3" downpipe)

Yes everything is new that was replacable... 2k miles on the engine now (Mazda Reman). All new hoses, gaskets, filters, etc. Rebuilt injectors, new alternator.
How do you check the coils?

Hey Tim
Theres another guy in the tech thread that put in GSlSE secondarys
and is gettting the same thing as you (hest above 6000)
Did you put in the resistor mod on the injectors?
From KRD:
"The stock FC3S turbo fuel injectors are rated at 550cc/min. The 1986 to mid-1987 models (June 1986 build date cut-off) use "low-impedence" fuel injectors. The mid 1987 to 1991 models use "high-impedence" fuel injectors.
"Low-impedence" fuel injectors typically measure about 2-ohms.
"High-impedence" fuel injectors typically measure about 14-ohms.
You can use low-impedence fuel injectors in a car originally designed to use high-impedence fuel injectors by running some 20-watt, 10-ohm resistors.
You can use high-impedence fuel injectors in a car originally designed to use low-impedence fuel injectors by jumping the fuel injectors resistor block located at the front, passenger side of the engine bay.
You can use fuel injectors from a 1984-1985 RX-7 GSL-SE. These are rated at 680cc/min. Note, the GSL-SE only uses two of these fuel injectors, so if you want 4, you need to find another set. These are low-impedence fuel injectors. "

If there are no resistors wouldn't the car stall above 4k when they come online? Mine is an early 87 so I think it doesnt need them. Today as I was driving around it was not hesitating as bad as last night but the car was definitely losing alot of power on the top end. It really wouldn't accelerate past 6k.
Just turned 150k miles today!
