Another round of "name that part"
And without a picture!!!
Ok, on my 87 n/a 5spd...
in the areaunderneath the passenger side headlight, behind the retractor motor, in front of the wheel well, is a reservoir type thing. What is this? Is this a coolant overflow reservoir or something? It seems to serve no purpose, is not really connected, but has some sensor thingy on the bottom. I get no codes, no idiot lights.
For $5 and a cookie... name that part!
And can I rip this thing out with no consequences?

haha that explains why my why winshield wiper fluid light is on. I thought it was on the other side of the car for some reason. Now I feel like an idiot...
Now that I know what it is... I don't think it's going to be there much longer. Thanks again guys.

The resevoir on the other side of the car is for the headlight washers - if your car was so-equipped. The one for the headlights actually holds more fluid than the one for the windshield - go figure!
