Failing throw out bearing, or bad master cyl. Are you sure the master and slave are good. Is the slave moving just a little or a lot???

And if the pedal is not coming up that screams a bad master cyl.

and your bump has been deleted. Bumps are forbidden here in the 2nd gen technical section. Do not bump

Yea, no bumping or double clutching or Fanning the clutch either

Cracks me up.

Bumping refers to you posting again on your own thread in order to bring it back up to the top of the page. It has nothing to do with your Clutch

yes, because double clutching would also not be allowed in the 2nd gen forum either.

Sure sounds like air in the system. Describe how you bled the clutch and maybe there's something a little wrong in your procedure. Before you crack open the slave cyl bleeder are you pumping the clutch a few times and then holding the pedal to the floor, then cracking open the bleeder? Seemed to work best for me when the pedal was against the floor and then opened/close the bleeder real quick.

Had this problem with my FB back in the day; just bleed, bleed, then bleed it some more.

It'll turn out alright.

jhammons01 has an idea that you might try. Try bench bleeding it-you can leave it in the car. Go to Advance Auto and get a bleed kit made by HELP #13999 (If I rember the right P/N?). Its like $6.

1. When you get it take a threaded plastic fitting in the kit and install it in the master cyl where the hardline goes.
2. Connect a piece of the rubber hose from the kit and run it from the plastic fitting to inside the reservoir.
3. Partially fill reservoir and make sure the hose is submerged in fluid inside the reservoir.
4. Slowly press clutch pedal, pull up by hand, repeat. You will likely see air bubbles in the reservoir and keep doing this until no more bubbles.
5. After this you'll have to connect the hardline and do the bleeding at the slave like you've been doing

Also try tapping the rubber hose going from the master cyl hardline to the slave. There may be a air pocket in the hose.

tried that

iigth listen to this...i did something like that..i ran a small hose long in length...a clear hose that i can see whats moving around in it..i ran it from the bleeder on the slave back to the master cylinder cap where the liquid is..i pumped and pumped until the bubbles were gone...now still in the same position.....really really need help with this...

p.s. anyone figured out that idling problem???

Jumping idle is either a vac leak or a mis-adjusted TPS

Out of ideas for your clutch problem

I had a fast idle at 1500rpm that turned out to be the fast idle cam on the rear of the throttle body:

well if the slave is moving correctly (and therefore the fork), then it must be in the clutch assembly itself has been assembled wrong
