another noob.... hey

Yo
I was just given an '87 RX7 NA last night... it's in decent shape (I'm stripping the interior very soon) and seems to run okay (according to a friend of mine, the apex seals seem to be in decent shape in that case). I'm going to work on the shift linkage and door handles today (neither exterior handle works, you have to get in from the trunk).

I'm honestly not planning on doing anything special to the car. apparently the guy who bought it most recently got it right after he saw TF&TF and wanted a ricer. It's my second car and I'm planning on just keeping it as a minor project car and as spare transportation (and to lower the insurance on my del Sol).

It's sitting a a friend's parents' house right now with his '87 CRX that he bought yesterday (he's got the engine swap for it all ready and is going to start working on it this week or next I think).

anyway, just wanted to say "hi" I'll look around before I ask anything, but I'll prolly ask some stupid sh%t at some point

thanks! haha, actualy, we saved 2 "rex"'s from the "evil rice side".... both the CRX and the RX7 :P

I don't like rice, but I guess my honda can kinda be considered rice (I've got painted emblems (subtle though... BMW estoril Blue), painted valve cover (white to match the car), cold air intake, painted vents (they look okay), and a straight pipe (my muffler fell off and it's a temporary fix, but still sounds quieter than a coffee can)

actualy, one quick question.... according to the vin and a decoder I found, I know it's an FC, but the model designation is FC311 I can't find anything about a trim on it, anyone know what trim it is by the number?

doesen't have a sunroof, it's got the phone dial wheels (which I was hoping I could swap with my Sol, but I guess they are 4x114 and not 4x100 which the honda is)

it's got manual windows and cloth seats as well
