Question another header question

Now im thinking about that racing beat header. I also like to know if the intake actuators would still open with this header and if can still have a main cat placed after that.

Thanks

As long as you have some decent backpressure (i.e. Cat) the actuators will work fine. A main cat can still be used but you will have to weld some extension flanges on it for it to bolt up between the Y-pipe and the header. If I recall correctly that length is about 18", but I could be mistaken.

ur right RX it is 18" and the accuators still work!! i have the RB header and its runs/changed my sound to more rumbling(deep/deep wine at higher rpm's)!! u can put a main CAT after that but should go with the RB presilencer!! PEACE!!

the main cat is 17.5", and the RB presilencer is 20.5", so you need a 3" extension pipe. I ordered two presilencer flanges from RB, then bought some 2.5 ID pipe from checker and had meineke weld it up for me. It works great, no leaks, and I much prefer the sound with the main cat to the sound with the presilencer. No difference in power either.
Without the hole in the manifold (the header doesn't have one) the actuators won't work though. That pipe going to the cat is just there for pumping air into it; it doesn't open the actuators.

Does anyone know if the Bonez Superfle will bolt up to the RB header? I have yet to hear someone finally confirm this .

NO, the Bonez Superflow bolts up to the stock exhaust manifold. The RB header is a good 6" or so longer than the stock manifold.
