Exclamation Does a automatic use a TII driveshaft?!?

Okay, guys I really need some help on this one!! A little while ago I bought a Turbo II engine and transmission from Japan. The guy selling it sent me a automatic tranny instead of a manual. He later sent me the right tranny, and I keep the auto. I recently sold the auto to a guy out of state, who needed a beefy auto for a 3-rotor. I told him it was a rare TII automatic, and should be up to the task. In the rear tail shaft, I could use a TII driveshaft, and it fit perfectly. Once I sent it out, he said it was just like all the second gen NON-Turbo automatics, and that all automatics use the larger spline off the Turbo II. IS this right?!? So my question to you guys to help me out, and prevent this guy from returning the thing, is;

1)Do all the U.S. spec tranny automatics use the larger spline, the same as on the Turbo II manual tranny's???

2)Or do I really have a Jap spec tranny, and the guy is off his rocker?

The US AT spline is the same as the TII MT spline, but the driveshafts are of a different length and have a different flange where they mount to the differential. The US NA MT spline is smaller, and the driveshaft is close to the same length as the MT TII shaft, and the MT NA shaft has the same differential flange as the NA AT driveshaft. If that's confusing, then just look at the pictures:

Also see the US factory service manual "Propeller Shaft" section for dimensions:

I have never seen a J-Spec AT, so maybe our forum members from down under can help with this one.
