You can download some PDF manuals of the turbo timer. Hope this helps.

On the RX-7 I do not believe there is a sensor wire. The speedometer is directly turned by the speedometer gear/cable. This wire is an anti- theft devise. If the turbo timer was on and it gets signal from the speed wire it automatically shuts down the car. Snip that purple wire and put some electrical tape on it. Its not used for our application.

Just use the e-brake signal wire so that when the e-brake is on that wire is grounded. This lets the timer know the e-brake has been engaged and works. If you don't want to have that hooked up either you can shut that feature off (see instructions on how do to this). I recommend using the e-brake wire.

my timer is the new one with the 0-60 timer and all that stuff. the speed wire needs to be hooked up for this to work.

how does the cruse control work with no speed sensor?

Looks like your right

After some investegation I have found it. But what Series do you have S4 or S5 this will make a difference on where it is in the wiring harness.

Ok for the S4 there is a Cruse Control CPU located next to (to the left) of the emissions/engine ECU on the passenger side floor board. This Cruse Control CPU is a thin long box that has one 13 pin connector going into it. On that 13 pin connector there should be a green wire with a thin red stripe on it. That G/R wire is the Cruse Controls wire to the speed sensor. Here is what the connector looks like:

1 - - - * - - - 6
7 - - - - - - - 13

each ( - ) = a pin and * = nothing (open space), the number next to the pin tells you what pin # it is it goes from left to right in numeric order. The G/R (green w/red stripe) for the speed sensor is pin # 10

Have fun
