Another click click start problem

I have read most of the click start threads and they say either check the connections and grounds or jumper the security starter cut relay...so I checked my connections and tried to jumper the relay. I got 12.5v at the battery and when I turn the key to start I get around 8-9v at the black/blue wire at the starter cut relay...traced all wires back to clutch interlock still gets 9v same at ign switch. If I place a jumper at the battery and the black green wire the relay car starts fine. I'm thinking it's my viper alarm causing the voltage drop somewhere...thus click click of the starter solenoid but no crank. (brand new tested working starter for what it's worth)

Anyways...my question would be could I use a 4 pin automotive relay to power the starter instead? Take a fused power from the battery to the relay and tap the ignition wire start switch for its momentary 12v spike to power the relay...then either send the 12v battery power to the black green starter relay wire via splicing it or directly sending it to the starter solenoid... Do you guys see any issues with that? this starter issue is really bugging the living daylight out of me! thanks for any input...

Ps: i have a S5 T2...the colors for the starter cut will be diff from s4 I think but same concept
