Amazing find in my 7 also need help getting glue out of carpet.
I had taken the seats out of the seven so I could get around easier when I was cleaning the car out. This also served a dual purpose because I think my heater core is clogged.... anyways. When I was in there sweeping the carpet I noticed something strange. The carpet was really lumpy in some places so I started to pull it up. Well what do we have here! It was the original carpet! I was pissed at this point because of this obvious lazyness on the behalf of the previous owner. Well I started to seperate the 2 and then I started to get glad that he was lazy because the original carpet is in mint condition! It was really nice like when you buy a beand new car and are like mmmm clean carpet! Well I started to cut it off the driver side, well there is a little bit of glue on the carpet now. Basically I need to know how to get this damn glue off the carpet. The pass side is a lot worse on the glue it is yellow and not looking so good. The driver side dosent have much and any that is there will actually be covered up by the seat itself. Anyone got any ideas? Ill post some pics this weekend when I get my camera back.
