You won't hurt anything if you premix correctly, I've been doing it for almost 2 years on a boosted rotary and have had zero problems and passed two TX emission tests.

Read around and search about premix--no need to post any questions about it--been covered a million times.

Wish I had time to get togther and help you out but just too busy here, keep posting the symptoms we'll walk you thru it.

yeah, if the OMP goes out the ECU will put ur car into deafault mode like someone said.. that would not nessecarily mean that youre ECU is out though. If you car is in deafault mode i would recomend replacing the OMP just to see if that was the cause before buying a new ECU. I can't belive the dealer told you the TB was bad, how the hell would the whole thing be bad?

 

but on second thought, you're not to far from houston... i would trust MazMax to work on my car long before any dealer, just my $.02. I know the service manager there from the Houstonrx7club, Brian, he is a cool guy and knows his stuff about troubleshooting 7's, many RX-7's from around houston get serviced there (i'm too poor so i do the work myself). But i just thought i'd share that in case you give up on working on you car yourself.
