It's funny cause I just opened my own account on there last light, and it worked pretty good for me. So if I did do this what alt. should I do? From what I'm thinking you don't need to use a soldering gun if your just painting, only if you plan on replacing something............. If your just painting just start twisting bolts and she'll fall apart enough to paint.

exactly where does it should be grinded for the grounds? Just got my alternator cases from powdercoating and stumble into this info

 

the flat spots where the bolts go through. basically where the metal housing touches the rest of the engine. they should have taped it off before powder.

 

man! It's been 13+ years on this one! I can't even hardly remember this! But I'm still waiting on a response as to which alternator you wanna see done apparently. 😆
