alternator connections

Hi Guys, I installed an 87 N/A engine into a 87 turbo, my question is the connections for the alternator, the plug connection on the back of the alternator is incorperated in the engine harness on the N/A which was already hooked up to the engine when I swapped it into the TII, when I was connecting everything in the engine conpartment I came accross the TII's plug connector which is part of the starter wire harness which remains with the car. Which connecter should I use the one with the N/A engine harness or the TII plug that comes off the starter harness? Thanks for your help. Gary

you can get the factory manuals and wiring diagrams at www.fc3s.org to compare between N/A and turbo harnesses.

alternater wiring

Well I have the diagrams, I even ran the engine with using the 2 different connections and noticed no real differences however that was just idleing in my drive way. I just want to know if it matters long term which connection I use. Gary
