Angry "Alternator Belt is a B**** to put on damnit"

Its been fustrating puting on this last Drive belt.. Im using an Aftermarket belt.. but due to the fustration of Losening the tention Bolts to "LOOSEN THE ALTERNATOR THAT WON'T BUDGE" TO LOSEN ANYWAYS" Im just gonna buy an OEM BELT I hope it fits better!!!!

Did you try rotating the Main Crank awhile slipping the Belt on? Do you even have the correct sized belt?

is that belt tiny as hell, or are you not able to move tha alt at all due to stuck-fast alt mount bolts?

Did you loosen the 14mm alternator pivot bolt?

It makes me envy the guys with an E-fan & no PS or AC or air pump.

I just got the OEM Belt "Right Now" Its in fact "A Shy bigger than the Aftermarket one" I hope this works when i get home..

You haven't loosened something. All the belts are very easy to replace.

Atleast they are on my S4 N/A. I just realized that you have a S5 T2, so i prolly don't know what i'm talking about.

I fOllowed the Instructions from "CHILTON" Ive losend the Bolts already but moving it seemed some hard work!

dude i just put my two alternator belts on last night (dual alt pulley)

just loosen that pivot bolt and use a convincer bar to get the alt to move down all the way.

just loosen that bolt, put a bigass block of wood ontop of the alternator, and hit the block with a sledgehammer.

It will probabaly be a Bitch to Put it back up with a new Alternator belt... "Aftermarket that is"
