Almost Done!!!

Just got the car back from the body shop yesterday and snapped a quick pic. It rained all night so the car is wet but I'll get some better pictures posted on my site later today.

The body kit is Bomex, east Bear headlight conversion, and the paint is Platinum White Pearl.

Looks great!! Are you doing anything with the mirrors? Like getting the aero mirrors offf of a 89-91? or even painting the ones you have body color?

I think I'm going to have the ones on it painted to match. I didn't realize they would stand out like they do, otherwise they would have been painted while the car was in.

I think I'm going to get a set of Sparco seats. I had some V-racings on order and cancelled, also tried to order a set of Corbeaus until I found out they would sit higher than stock. I've been putting off the seats trying to get everything else done.

The body kit fit great from my point of view, but I didn't install it. They did tell me that they had to do some adjusting to make it all fit good. I need to get the ruber peice that goes between the front nose and the hood because the old one broke when they removed it. I'll take some better pictures and some closeups on Wednesday, I'm out of town on business until then.

Looks nice!

Are you using the "I'm building it for my daughter excuse" just to get the O.K. from the wife? It just seems wierd that a dad would give his baby girl a sports car; with a body kit, a headlight kit, and a new paint job. She is a lucky girl. And by what little that pic reveals; you appear to live in a preaty "well-off" neighborhood.

It is a nice neighborhood. I live all that of a mile away, and have never seen the car in person .

Actually, the wife encouraged me to do it, it's more of time spent with daughter and teaching her a little about cars. She's always been into cars and we are spending quality time in the garage.

The neighborhood is nice, but definately NOT one of the more expensive neighborhoods around - just your basic middle class neighborhood.

That must be a dream come true! Having a daughter that likes cars, is like the best of both worlds.
