are all turbo 2 half-shafts the same? jdm/usdm

searched on this forum and google couldn't find an answer...

i bought a jdm turbo 2 diff from panda garage and got turbo 2 half-shafts from a local shop. the half-shafts holes are about 1/8" off, too wide.

found this picture of four different turbo 2 stub shafts...
http://www.mazdatrix.com/pictures/g-...stubshafts.jpg

the stub shafts on the diff i have doesn't look like a 87 lsd.

do they all use the same half-shafts?
is jdm and usdm different?
or did i they sell me a n/a limited slip?

sound's like they sold you a n/a diff. the shaft's are right but the diff is not.

Yep, all turbo (regardless if it's US-spec or J-spec) axles are the same.
The ones with the small bolt pattern are off a non-turbo.
Sounds like you got bent over...

Sounds like the diff is from a non-turbo?
If so, how long is the pinion?
If you don't have the whole diff, what is the diameter of the ring gear?

Question wtf?

thanks for the help guys, still dunno whats wrong tho.

i have the whole diff/pumpkin...

checked out the link, chinkst3r posted...
it says that turbo 2 drive shafts can't bolt up to n/a diffs.
but the turbo 2 drive shaft i have, bolts up to the diff that i have!

i wonder if the half shafts i got was wrong, i already double check on that and returned um.
i told them i needed 88-92 turbo 2 half shafts, part numbers matched.

what should the t2 stub shaft, bolt pattern, measurement be? bolt to bolt

is n/a and t2 lsd's interchangeable? n/a lsd into t2 pumpkin?
no ways, ah...

vlsd half shafts are different than the ones from the clutch-type

that means S4 USDM TII half-shafts are different than the S5 TII.

The Torsen diff FC's from Japan (Infini models) had shafts similar or the same as the S4 TII's.
