If you removed the TB Plates, minus the shaft, as I did, you probably would have been done before you started.

The rest of my car looks pretty darn good I think..

I didnt use a hammer, ...well maybe a little I drilled the holes out ,which broke the rod wherever I drilled. Then still had to bend the **** out of them cuz they were still stuck to the rod. It wasnt nearly as violent as the pictures indicate...

P.S. .....My car is for sale.....buy it

You just have to use some PEN lube or wd-40 etc, and put a lot of wieght on the screw driver when getting them out, The hard one is getting the screw on the side, I always have to use a dremel and cut into it to make a bigger slot fot a flathead screwdriver. And i have done several times so its no fluke.

I actually was soaking them in PB Blaster for almost 2 days proir to attemting to remove them. I also used a flathaed screwdriver and put almost all my weight on them. I still stripped 3 of the 4.

Here is the best write up for doing the throttle body mod : fc3s-pro

You can thank RETed. With this printed out by your side while doing this you'll wonder why you printed it out. It's pretty easy once you start digging into it.

they have impact drivers, all u do is place it on a screw and hit it with a hammer works great, i didnt use it to take my screws out but it will be a lot easier then doing what u did. all u have to do is set teh screwdriver snug and twist in a fast motion and they come right out.

Heating the screws with a small propane torch makes getting the screws out a lot easier. I have also found an easy way of taking screws out with a cordless drill. If you have a drill where you can ajust the torque (it will have a rotating collar with numbers on it between the chuck and the drill) , set the drill to the lowest torque setting. When you start trying to take the screw out, rotate the collar slowly to apply more torque to the screw. (It will feel like an impact wrench.) That usually works for me, just make sure you push the drill into the screw head with a lot of force.
