You are lucky that your alarm works. I'm thinking about fixing mine. Is yours S4 or S5? Check the FSM, there may be a bad switch in door.

Sounds like it is either an aftermarket alarm systm or your door latch switches (the handle that you lock the door from, inside the car) are broken or out of alignment.

See the factory alarm, once disarmed, will not arm again, unless you open the door lock the door with the latch switch and close the door while holding the handle of the door up.

its an s5 and i think its out of alignment. The preson i bought the car from didnt have the keys to the doors and it didnt lock from the inside. i think maybe he did something to the locks so that he wouldnt get locked out. i have a key now but the alarm is frustrating.

Does the horn honk when it goes off, or does a siren sound? If the horn honks, it's the factory alarm, if it's a siren, then it's an aftermarket one that'll need to be removed.

S5 can also have a bad main board in the CPU and have that . The S5 CPU was a POS comparied to the S4 one and often has chip and board issues.

Unplug the top plug of the CPU and see if that solves the issue. If it does, then you may need to replace the main board in the CPU (pretty cheap from Mazdatrix)
